The transformations of the socio-cultural context and knowledge models, on which the post-digital culture and ongoing emergencies impact have required educational research to explore new territories by focusing attention on the relationship between assessment, instructional design and learning and having accountability, democracy and equity as references.
In relation to evaluation from assessment of learning there has been a move first to assessment for learning and then to assessment as learning. In this view, circular and recursive feedback and self-assessment processes play a central role. Feedback from simple teacher commentary becomes a recursive and open-ended process that personally involves students in a productive and progressive journey over time (Winstone & Carless, 2019).
The conference aims to explore current lines of research on assessment and feedback with a specific focus on undergraduate teaching and invites the scholarly community to a broad and open discussion.
