Liisa Ilomäki
Liisa Ilomäki, (EdD, Education and Technology) works at the University of Helsinki, in the Technology in Education Research Group, Faculty of Educational Sciences. Her research focus is in learning and teaching with digital technology, including innovations and changes within school and teaching communities and in promoting knowledge work competencies in education. She defended her doctoral thesis 2008, the title of which was The effects of ICT in schools: Teachers´ and students’ perspectives. Liisa Ilomäki has authored or co-authored several research articles and has been an editor of books concerning educational technology.

Diana Laurillard
Diana Laurillard (PhD Educational Technology) is Professor of Learning with Digital Technologies at the London Knowledge Lab, UCL Institute of Education. Prior to her appointment at the UCL Institute of Education, she was Head of the e-Learning Strategy Unit at the UK Government Department for Education and Skills (2002-5), and served as Pro-Vice Chancellor for learning technologies and teaching at The Open University (1995-2002). Her research includes large-scale online communities of teacher-designers, and the use of specialised digital course design tools to enable teachers to create and share new pedagogies for using learning technology. She is currently running two MOOCs on teacher development in digital course design.

Norbert Pachler
Norbert Pachler (Mag. phil. Dr. phil.) is Professor of Teaching and Learningand Pro-Director: Teaching, Quality and Learning Innovation at UCL Institute of Education, University of London. His academic work focuses on a variety of domains, including digital technologies in teaching and learning (with a particular focus on mobile learning), teacher education and development and languages in education.
As the convenor of the London Mobile Learning Group, he has enjoyed working with a number of international colleagues from a range of fields including cultural and media studies, sociology, social semiotics, pedagogy, educational technology, work-based learning and learning design.
